How long have you been working at Wembley Stadium?
I joined The FA in 2005 and then moved across to Wembley in 2007 for the first FA Cup Final and never left!
How would you explain your job to a child?
I lead, support and guide an insanely talented group of people in the delivery of world class events at the place England plays its football and the venue where the biggest music artists in the world perform.
Favourite thing about working at Wembley Stadium?
No two events are the same. The delivery from one night to the next might be standard, but once you add in a crowd, Wembley comes alive in a different way each time. It’s easy to forget the sensation of a first Wembley experience when it’s your ‘office’ and seeing and meeting our guests at their first Wembley event, seeing their favourite team or music artist perform will never get boring.
Best memory of Wembley Stadium?
I’ve got a few to be honest. I have been here longer than most of the seats in the stadium after all. First FA Cup Final, bringing 90,000 fans back to the home of football. 2011 and 2013 Champions League Finals, incredible levels of delivery by all stakeholders for an event that takes two years of planning. Any gig with guitars and drums! Foo Fighters with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones coming on for the encore could only have happened at Wembley and was a truly special moment.
Dream Wembley event?
One where Sunderland win… Ideally against Newcastle!
